IREKS invests in future bakers

Once a year, it is time for the IREKS hands-on training with the first year students of TU Dublin. Also in 2023, this tradition was continued at the Grangegorman Campus: 24 enthusiastic bakery students were looking forward to a practical baking session headed by our Master Baker and Bread Sommelier Mathias Weigel and our National Sales Manager Graham Tighe.

After having been familiarized with the different products, the students got the chance to work with them, making various baked goods such as baguettes, rye bread, Mediterranean-style plaits, pinsa, gluten-free cheese balls and sweet pretzels.
