Customers from Wales & Western visit IREKS headquarters
In October, a group of customers from the regions Wales and Western from the UK came to Kulmbach to enjoy three days full of baking, sightseeing and traditional upper-Franconian culture.
During a so-called “night watchman’s tour”, the group was walked around the old town of Kulmbach. To get to know IREKS better, our customers got a whole day at IREKS with a detailed company tour and two different presentations about baked goods. Our master baker Mathias and his colleague Tobias showed them a variety of sweet and savoury pieces. The group also dived into the history of baking while they got a guided tour through the Bavarian Bakery Museum. Last but not least, they visited a local German bakery and their production facilities. It was a good opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss challenges of the industry. All in all, a memorable stay in Kulmbach.
