Having taken a bakery apprenticeship and gained relevant bakery and confectionery qualifications, Lee then worked abroad with a year in Switzerland and eighteen months in Sweden to gather continental bakery and patisserie knowledge.

Returning to the UK as a chef patissier working at various hotels, he then moved into product development with industrial baking groups at management level before heading into sales of functional bakery ingredients with internationally renowned companies.

Achieving advanced baking qualifications in science and technology and using this for the management of key account sales with international technical bakery teams plus National Sales Management with major UK baking companies was the next step.

With over 30 years of baking industry experience in international markets from the USA, Middle East, Asia, European countries along with the UK making him highly respected within the industry, Lee is now looking forward to an exciting future with IREKS in the UK.
