IREKS sponsors FCBA and IREKS awards in Ireland

As president of the Flour Confectioners and Bakers Association of Ireland and National Sales Manager for IREKS, I had the great pleasure to be invited by Dr Frank Cullen, Head of School, to present the awards at the School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology. The award ceremony took place in Cathal Brugha Street , Dublin 1 on Friday, 27th October 2017.

IREKS supports the students of Cathal Brugha Street by sponsoring such awards with a bursary.

It can help the students to continue their education and career path into the baking industry.

IREKS award:
Best overall academic student in 2017 on the Bachelor of Science Baking and Pastry Arts Management course.
500.00 € prize.

The IREKS award winner for 2017 is Jeremy Pastor-Jacques who comes from France. It was a pleasure to present him with his award.

FCBA award:
Highest mark for artisan bread 2017 on the Bachelor of Science Baking and Pastry Arts Management course.
500.00 € prize.

The FCBA winner was Beatrice Ritzen and it also gave me great pleasure to present her with her award.

I would like to wish Beatrice and Jacques much success and happiness for the future in their careers.
